Edgewood City is a one of the Orange County, Florida, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 1901 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 2080, It is the 251st smallest by population in the U.S. state of Florida. It has total area of 1.48 mi˛ (3.83 square kilometre), of which, 1.21 square miles (3.13 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.27 square miles (0.7 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 226th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Florida.

The racial makeup of the city was 89.69% White, 4.63% Black or African American, 0.37% American Indian, 2.26% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 1.74% from two or more races and 1.32% Other races.
