Edgewater City is a city in the Jefferson County, Colorado, United States. In 2000, city's population was 5445 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 5136 in July 2008, It is the 86th largest by population in the U.S. state of Colorado. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.71 mi˛ (1.84 square kilometre), it is the 98th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Colorado.
