Edgerton City is one of the city of Rock and Dane counties, Wisconsin, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. Edgerton City had an official population of 4933 in 2000. Its population was estimated at 5329 in July 2008, making it the 128th most populous in Wisconsin. The city encompasses an area of 3.67 square miles (9.51 square kilometre), it is the 182nd largest in terms of geographical size.
