Edgerton City is one of the city of Johnson County, Kansas, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of the city was 1440 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 1817, It is the 159th largest by population in the U.S. state of Kansas. The city extends throughout a territory of 1.29 sq mi (3.34 kmē ), of which, 1.28 square miles (3.32 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 143rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Kansas.
