Eden City is one of the city of Rockingham County, North Carolina, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 15908 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 15469, It is 47th most populous in North Carolina. It covers total area of 15.18 sq mi (39.32 square kilometre), of which, 15.01 square miles (38.88 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.17 square miles (0.44 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 51st largest by area in the U.S. state of North Carolina.
