Eddystone Borough is a borough in the Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population of borough in 2000 stood at 2442 as per the Census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 2341, making it Pennsylvania's 545th largest. Its area is just over 1.5 mi˛ (3.88 square kilometre), of which, 1.04 square miles (2.69 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.46 square miles (1.19 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 530th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2442 people in the borough, organized into 964 households, and 607 families living in the borough. The population density was 2352.6 people per square mile (908.34/km˛), it is 544th most densely populated borough in Pennsylvania. There were 1035 housing units at an average density of 995.2 per square mile (384.25/km˛). The average household size was 2.53 persons, and the average family size was 3.24 persons. In the borough the population was spread out, with 28.4% under the age of 18, 7.2% from 18 to 24, 29.7% from 25 to 44, 20.2% from 45 to 64, and 14.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 95.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.6 males. The median age is 35.7 years, the median age of male residents at 34.8 and the median age of female residents at 36.3. The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 2331 White, 43 Black or African American, 8 American Indian, 12 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 33 from two or more races and 15 Ohter races.
