Echo City is one of the city of Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 278 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 242, It is the 259th least populous in the U.S. state of Minnesota. Its area is just over 1.02 sq mi (2.64 sq km), making it Minnesota's 502nd largest by total area.
