Eastland County is a county in the United States of Texas. The population of the county was 18297 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 18186, It is the 126th most populous county in the U.S. state of Texas. It covers total area of 931.9 square miles (2413.61 kmē), of which, 926.01 square miles (2398.35 kmē) of it is land and 5.89 square miles (15.26 kmē) of it is water, making it the 113th largest by size in Texas.

The population density was 19.8 people per square mile (7.64/kmē), it is Texas's 132nd most densely populated county.
