Easthampton City is a city located in the Hampshire County, Massachusetts, United States. The population of the city was 15994 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 16195, making it the 72nd most populous in Massachusetts. The city comprises an area of 13.6 sq mi (35.22 square kilometre), of which, 13.42 square miles (34.76 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.19 square miles (0.49 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 42nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Massachusetts.

As of the census of 2000, there were 15994 people in the city, organized into 6854 households, and 4170 families living in the city. The population density was 1192.1 people per square mile (460.27/kmē), making its Massachusetts's 140th most densely populated city. There were 7083 housing units at an average density of 527.8 per square mile (203.78/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.33 persons, and the average family size was 2.93 persons.
