East Rutherford Borough is a United States borough located in the Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. In 2000, borough's population was 8716 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 10074, It is the 187th largest in terms of population. It covers total area of 4.15 square miles (10.75 kmē), of which, 3.81 square miles (9.87 kmē) of it is land and 0.34 square miles (0.88 kmē) of it is water, making it New Jersey's 133rd largest by total area.
