East Peoria City is a United States city located in the Tazewell County, Illinois, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the East Peoria City is home to 22638 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 22760, It is the 93rd most populous in the U.S. state of Illinois. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 21.03 sq mi (54.47 sq km), of which, 18.81 square miles (48.72 sq km) of it is land and 2.22 square miles (5.75 sq km) of it is water, it is the 14th largest by area in the U.S. state of Illinois. It is ranks sixth in the size of its inland waterways in Illinois.
