East Merrimack Cdp is one of the census designated place of Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, located towards the Northeastern Region (New England) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 3784 inhabitants. It is the 28th most populous in the U.S. state of New Hampshire. The census designated place extends throughout a territory of 3.32 sq mi (8.6 sq km ), of which, 3.02 square miles (7.82 sq km) of it is land and 0.3 square miles (0.78 sq km) of it is water, making it the 35th largest by size in New Hampshire. It is ranks 15 in the size of its inland waterways in New Hampshire.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3784 people in the census designated place, organized into 1667 households, and 990 families living in the census designated place. The population density was 1253 people per square mile (483.79/kmē), it is the 16th most densely populated census designated place in the U.S. state of New Hampshire.
