East Grand Rapids City is a United States city located in the Kent County, Michigan, United States. In 2000, the population was 10764. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 10467, giving it the 107th largest population among Michigan. It covers total area of 3.4 mi˛ (8.81 square kilometre), of which, 2.93 square miles (7.59 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.47 square miles (1.22 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 223rd largest in terms of geographical size.
