East Conemaugh Borough is a borough in the Cambria County, Pennsylvania, United States. The borough has a population of 1291 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1163, It is 784th most populous in Pennsylvania. The borough extends throughout a territory of 0.29 miē (0.75 kmē ), of which, 0.28 square miles (0.73 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 151st smallest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1291 people in the borough, organized into 588 households, and 366 families living in the borough. In the borough the population was distributed as follows: 19.3% under the age of 18, 7.1% from 18 to 24, 24.7% from 25 to 44, 23.7% from 45 to 64, and 25.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 83.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 79 males. The median age was 44.3 years, The median age of males was 42.8 years, for females the median age was 45.2 years. The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 95.97% White, 3.33% Black or African American, 0% American Indian, 0% Asian, 0.15% Native Hawaiian, 0.54% from two or more races and 0% Other races.
