East Bangor Borough is a United States borough located in the Northampton County, Pennsylvania, United States. In 2000, borough's population was 979 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 1113, giving it the 888th largest population among Pennsylvania. The borough extends throughout a territory of 0.83 sq mi (2.15 square kilometre ), of which, 0.75 square miles (1.94 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 830th largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 979 residents, 387 households, and 262 families in the borough. The population density was 1304.1 people per square mile (503.52/kmē), making it the 846th most densely populated borough in Pennsylvania.
