Early County is a county located in Georgia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of the county was 12354 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 11713, It is 45th least populous county in Georgia. It covers total area of 516.27 miē (1337.13 kmē), of which, 511.23 square miles (1324.08 kmē) of it is land and 5.04 square miles (13.05 kmē) of it is water, it is the 24th largest by area in the U.S. state of Georgia.
