Duson Town is one of the town of Acadia Parish and Lafayette Parish counties, Louisiana, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 1672. Its population was estimated at 1652 in July 2008, giving it the 208th largest population among Louisiana. The town has a total area of 2.57 miē (6.66 kmē), it is the 218th largest by area in the U.S. state of Louisiana.
