It is the 17th most populous in the U.S. state of New Hampshire. The census designated place comprises an area of 2.71 square miles (7.02 sq km), of which, 2.66 square miles (6.89 sq km) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 sq km) of it is water, making it New Hampshire's 40th largest by total area.
