Dupage County is a United States county located in the United States of Illinois. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 904161 inhabitants. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 930528, It is the second largest county by population in the U.S. state of Illinois. It covers total area of 336.55 miē (871.66 kmē), of which, 333.61 square miles (864.05 kmē) of it is land and 2.95 square miles (7.64 kmē) of it is water, making it the 16th smallest by size in Illinois.

As of the census of 2000, there were 904161 people in the county, organized into 325601 households, and 234354 families residing in the county. The population density was 2710.3 people per square mile (1046.45/kmē), it is the second most densely populated county in the U.S. state of Illinois. There were 335621 housing units at an average density of 1006 per square mile (388.42/kmē). The average household size was 2.73 people, and the average family size was 3.27 people. In the county Age distribution was 26.7% under the age of 18, 8.2% from 18 to 24, 32.4% from 25 to 44, 22.8% from 45 to 64, and 9.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 97.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.2 males. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 930528, The racial makeup of the county was 779745 White, 43627 Black or African American, 2734 American Indian, 91949 Asian, 495 Native Hawaiian, and 11978 from two or more races.
