Dunn County is a county in the United States of Wisconsin. As of 2000 the population was 39858. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 42688, making it the 34th most populous county in Wisconsin. The county encompasses an area of 863.91 sq mi (2237.52 kmē ), of which, 852.03 square miles (2206.75 kmē) of it is land and 11.89 square miles (30.79 kmē) of it is water, it is the 34th largest by area in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.

The population density was 46.8 people per square mile (18.07/kmē), it would be the 35th most densely populated county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In the county Age distribution was 23.3% under the age of 18, 19.8% from 18 to 24, 25.7% from 25 to 44, 19.8% from 45 to 64, and 11.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 98.4 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 97.8 females. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 42688, The racial makeup of the county was 96.09% White, 0.44% Black or African American, 0.32% American Indian, 2.16% Asian, 0.01% Native Hawaiian, and 0.98% from two or more races.
