Dunkirk City is a city located in Jay and Blackford counties, Indiana, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 2646 as per the Census data. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 2590, making it the 176th most populous in Indiana. The city encompasses an area of 1.13 sq mi (2.93 square kilometre), it is the 259th largest by area in the U.S. state of Indiana.
