Dunedin City is a United States city located in the Pinellas County, Florida, United States. Dunedin City had an official population of 35691 in 2000. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 35988, making it the 73rd most populous in Florida. It is spread over 28.21 sq mi (73.06 square kilometre), of which, 10.38 square miles (26.88 square kilometre ) of it is land and 17.83 square miles (46.18 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 49th largest by area in the U.S. state of Florida. It is ranks tenth in the size of its inland waterways in Florida.

The population density was 3438.1 people per square mile (1327.46/kmē), it is the 224th most populated city in terms of population density.
