Dune Acres Town is a United States town located in the Porter County, Indiana, United States. It is home to over 213 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population was 231, making it the 61st least populous in Indiana. The town spans an area of 3.52 square miles (9.12 kmē), of which, 2.14 square miles (5.54 kmē) of it is land and 1.38 square miles (3.57 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 132nd largest by total area among Indiana. It is ranks 11 in the size of its inland waterways in Indiana.
