Dundy County, Nebraska is a county located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 2292 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2002, making it the 19th least populous county in Nebraska. The county comprises an area of 920.79 square miles (2384.84 kmē), of which, 919.86 square miles (2382.43 kmē) of it is land and 0.93 square miles (2.41 kmē) of it is water, it is the 20th largest in terms of geographical size.

The population density was 2.5 people per square mile (0.97/kmē), making it the 17th least densely populated county in Nebraska. For every 100 females there were 96.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.4 males.
