Draper City is a city in the Salt Lake and Utah counties, Utah, United States. In 2000, the population was 25220. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 42317, making it Utah's 21st largest. The city encompasses an area of 30.35 sq mi (78.61 sq km ), of which, 30.34 square miles (78.58 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, making it Utah's 13th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 25220 people, 6305 households, and 5426 families living in the city. The population density was 831.1 people per square mile (320.89/kmē), it would be the 108th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Utah. There were 6588 housing units at an average density of 217.1 per square mile (83.82/kmē). The average household size was 3.4 persons, and the average family size was 3.69 persons. In the city the population was spread out, with 32% under the age of 18, 11.2% from 18 to 24, 38.3% from 25 to 44, 14.8% from 45 to 64, and 3.7% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 129.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 141.9 males.
