Dover City is one of the city of Stewart County, Tennessee, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 1442 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 1613, It is 219th most populous in Tennessee. Its area is just over 3.9 sq mi (10.1 square kilometre), of which, 3.8 square miles (9.84 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 205th largest by total area among Tennessee.
