Dover City, Mason County, Kentucky is a city located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 316. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 328, It is the 81st least populous in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The city spans an area of 0.5 miē (1.29 kmē), of which, 0.49 square miles (1.27 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 145th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Kentucky.

As of the census of 2000, there were 316 people, 115 households, and 93 families living in the city. The population density was 640.8 people per square mile (247.41/kmē), giving it the 114th least densely populated city among the Kentucky.
