Douglas Town is a town in the Marshall County, Alabama, United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 530 inhabitants. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 597, It is the 138th least populous in the U.S. state of Alabama. The town spans an area of 3.11 miē (8.05 kmē), of which, 3.1 square miles (8.03 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 324th largest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.

As of the census of 2000, there were 530 residents, 213 households, and 158 families in the town. The population density was 171 people per square mile (66.02/kmē), it is Alabama's 123rd least densely populated town. There were 231 housing units at an average density of 74.5 per square mile (28.76/kmē). The average household size was 2.49 people, and the average family size was 2.95 people.
