Dortches Town is one of the town of Nash County, North Carolina, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of the town was 809 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 871, It is the 427th most populous in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The town has a total area of 7.7 miē (19.94 kmē), making it North Carolina's 108th largest by total area.
