Doon City is a one of the Lyon County, Iowa, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 533 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 522, It is the 458th most populous in the U.S. state of Iowa. The city comprises an area of 0.58 square miles (1.5 square kilometre), makes it the 573rd largest by total area in Iowa.
