Dodge County is a county located in Nebraska, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The county has a population of 36160 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 35872, making it the seventh most populous county in Nebraska. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 543.92 square miles (1408.75 kmē), of which, 534.39 square miles (1384.06 kmē) of it is land and 9.53 square miles (24.68 kmē) of it is water, making it Nebraska's 21st smallest county by total area. It is ranks tenth in the size of its inland waterways in Nebraska.
