Dix Village is a city located in Jefferson County, Illinois, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. Dix Village had an official population of 494 in 2000. The July 2008 population estimate is 498, giving it the 388th smallest population among Illinois. The city comprises an area of 2.1 square miles (5.44 kmē), of which, 2.09 square miles (5.41 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 440th largest by total area in Illinois.
