It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 1262, It is the 209th largest by population in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The town encompasses an area of 14.19 square miles (36.75 square kilometre ), of which, 14.16 square miles (36.67 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 76th largest by total area in Oklahoma.
