Dickinson County, Michigan is a county located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 27472 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 26812, It is the 52nd largest in terms of population. The county has a total area of 777.12 miē (2012.73 kmē), of which, 766.34 square miles (1984.81 kmē) of it is land and 10.78 square miles (27.92 kmē) of it is water, it is the 40th largest by area in the U.S. state of Michigan.

For every 100 males there were 103.2 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 108 females. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 26812, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 97.66% White, 0.24% Black or African American, 0.68% American Indian, 0.54% Asian, 0.03% Native Hawaiian, and 0.85% from two or more races.
