Dickey County is a county located in the United States of North Dakota. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 5757 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 5237, It is the 23rd largest county by population in the U.S. state of North Dakota. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1141.66 mi˛ (2956.89 sq km), of which, 1131 square miles (2929.28 sq km) of it is land and 10.66 square miles (27.61 sq km) of it is water, it is the 30th largest in terms of geographical size.
