Diaz City is a United States city located in the Jackson County, Arkansas, United States. Diaz City had an official population of 1284 in 2000. Its population was estimated at 1156 in July 2008, making it the 178th most populous in Arkansas. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.94 square miles (15.38 sq km), of which, 5.92 square miles (15.33 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 92nd largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1284 people, 465 households, and 366 families living in the city. The population density was 216.8 people per square mile (83.71/kmē), it is the 115th least populated city in terms of population density. There were 552 housing units at an average density of 93.2 per square mile (35.98/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.76 persons, and the average family size was 3.15 persons.
