Diamondhead Cdp is a census designated place located in the Hancock County, Mississippi, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 5912 inhabitants. It is 63rd least populous in Mississippi. Its area is just over 11.7 miē (30.3 kmē), of which, 11.34 square miles (29.37 kmē) of it is land and 0.37 square miles (0.96 kmē) of it is water, it is the 37th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Mississippi.

As of the census of 2000, there were 5912 people, 2559 households, and 1916 families residing in the census designated place. The population density was 521.5 people per square mile (201.35/kmē), making it the 176th most densely populated census designated place in Mississippi.
