Dewar Town is a town in the Okmulgee County, Oklahoma, United States. In 2000, town's population was 919 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 898, giving it the 243rd largest population among Oklahoma. The town encompasses an area of 0.93 sq mi (2.41 sq km ), of which, 0.92 square miles (2.38 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, making it Oklahoma's 384th largest by total area.
