Detroit Town is a town located in the Lamar County, Alabama, United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 247 as per the Census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 226, It is the 66th least populous in the U.S. state of Alabama. It covers total area of 1.35 sq mi (3.5 square kilometre), making it the 89th smallest by size in Alabama.
