Detroit City is a city in the Marion County, Oregon, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 262 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 271, It is 43rd least populous in Oregon. The city has a total area of 0.85 sq mi (2.2 kmē), of which, 0.53 square miles (1.37 kmē) of it is land and 0.33 square miles (0.85 kmē) of it is water, it is the 99th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Oregon.
