Des Lacs City is a city located in the Ward County, North Dakota, United States. The population of the city was 209 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 194, making it North Dakota's 175th largest. The city encompasses an area of 0.56 miē (1.45 kmē ), of which, 0.54 square miles (1.4 kmē) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 kmē) of it is water, making it the 181st largest by size in North Dakota.
