Des Arc City is a city located in the Prairie County, Arkansas, United States. As of 2000 the population was 1933. Its population was estimated at 1708 in July 2008, making it the 138th most populous in Arkansas. It is spread over 2.04 sq mi (5.28 kmē), of which, 2.04 square miles (5.28 kmē ) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 245th largest by total area in Arkansas.
