Denver City is a United States city located in the Denver County, Colorado, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Denver City is home to 554636 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 598707, It is most populous in Colorado. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 154.94 square miles (401.29 square kilometre), of which, 153.35 square miles (397.17 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.59 square miles (4.12 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the second largest by size in Colorado. It is ranks first in the size of its inland waterways in Colorado.
