Denton Town, Caroline County, Maryland is a town located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of the town was 2960 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 4022, It is 206th most populous in Maryland. Its area is just over 2.58 square miles (6.68 sq km), of which, 2.46 square miles (6.37 sq km) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 sq km) of it is water, making it Maryland's 202nd largest by total area.
