Denali Borough, Alaska is a borough located in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. The population of borough in 2000 stood at 1893 as per the Census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the borough is 1848, It is fourth least populous borough in Alaska. It is spread over 12774.53 mi˛ (33085.88 square kilometre), of which, 12749.65 square miles (33021.44 square kilometre ) of it is land and 24.88 square miles (64.44 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Alaska's 15th largest county by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1893 people, 785 households, and 453 families living in the borough. The population density was 0.1 people per square mile (0.04/km˛), it would be the second least densely populated borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. There were 1351 housing units at an average density of 0.1 per square mile (0.04/km˛). The average household size was 2.28 and the average family size was 3.03. In the borough the population was spread out, with 23.8% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 36.8% from 25 to 44, 29.7% from 45 to 64, and 3.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 139 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 147.1 males. The borough's estimated population as of July 2008 was 1848, The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 1590 White, 30 Black or African American, 102 American Indian, 35 Asian, 8 Native Hawaiian, and 83 from two or more races.
