Delray Beach City is one of the city of Palm Beach County, Florida, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 60020. In July 2008, its estimated population was 64092, It is the 36th largest in terms of population. The city extends throughout a territory of 15.89 miē (41.15 kmē ), of which, 15.37 square miles (39.81 kmē) of it is land and 0.53 square miles (1.37 kmē) of it is water, it is the 114th largest by area in the U.S. state of Florida.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 60020 people, 26787 households, and 15091 families living in the city. The population density was 3905.6 people per square mile (1507.96/kmē), it is Florida's 187th most densely populated city.
