Delmar Town is a town located in Sussex County, Delaware, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1407 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 1516, It is the 40th most populous in the U.S. state of Delaware. The town has a total area of 0.94 sq mi (2.43 square kilometre), it is the 41st largest by area in the U.S. state of Delaware.

The population density was 1498.9 people per square mile (578.73/kmē), it is Delaware's 29th most densely populated town.
