Delaware City, Ohio is a city of the Delaware County, Ohio, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 25243 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 33719, It is 57th most populous in Ohio. It has total area of 15.1 sq mi (39.11 square kilometre), of which, 15 square miles (38.85 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 54th largest by size in Ohio.
