Deferiet Village is one of the city of Jefferson County, New York, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The city has a population of 309 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 317, It is the 31st smallest in terms of population. The city extends throughout a territory of 0.75 square miles (1.94 sq km ), of which, 0.71 square miles (1.84 sq km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 152nd smallest by total area in New York.
