Deerwood City, Crow Wing County, Minnesota is a city located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 590. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 573, making it Minnesota's 451st largest. It has total area of 2.04 sq mi (5.28 kmē), of which, 1.37 square miles (3.55 kmē) of it is land and 0.67 square miles (1.74 kmē) of it is water, making it the 311th largest by size in Minnesota.

As of the census of 2000, there were 590 people in the city, organized into 256 households, and 153 families living in the city.
